After almost five days of dry weather...we could seal it all in with a nice coat of stain to make things last longer.
But boy was it messy and ....smelly.
Everyone tried to help.If we had done nothing...everything would have turned an ugly gray by next year.
Even the dark side came to help.
And what can be more American than staining your fence on a fall, sunny 70 degree day with the American flag flapping in the breeze and you husband wearing his Nebraska Husker's cap?

The stain looks great. I love that look. Sounds like the weather was perfect. Greg's family that is still in Oconomowoc, Mequon, and Milwaukee, gave us good reports that it was an outside day. Even the dark side couldn't resist a warm fall day! Love it.
Hey, Sunshine; Those were some nice pics of everbody getting involved protecting the fence. It was a beautiful day to be outside. It kinda makes you want say "praise be to the Supreme Creator" or "hallelujah" I love you guys very much.; DAD
What a sweet message from Dad. Sigh. :-)
Staining, ugh. Good thing it was a nice day!
