The Motherload Dumped Last Night

They were talking 6-12 inches of snow...

But I think this seems more like two feet of snow...

With the drifting, the snow was up to Daddy Rainmaker's thighs when he left for work this morning. Except this wasn't shoveled then.

This is the the thin side of the snow that landed on the cedar cottage...

And this is the thicker side.

Darling Rose is home from school and a bunch of stuff is cancelled.
I'm not letting the kids in the snow yet.
I'm trying to round up Daddy Rainmaker's pull-over snow boots.
Dandy Lion drew this yesterday. I helped him spell reindeer, but he spelled "red nose" and "nouth pole" himself. See all the reindeer, and specifically Rudolph's red nose?
Hope you're all keeping warm and dry today!

Wow! That is serious snowfall. I showed Greg and he said "Good old Wisconsin!"Haha, I hope you guys are warm and nestled in the house. The red nose on Dandy Lion's picture is very cute. Perfect for the holidays.

    Happy snow day to you!
